Details

The grapes are harvested by hand in small quantities and the crushing takes place within 4 hours after picking. Pressing is light in order to collect only the must flower, followed by a slow and spontaneous fermentation process using only native yeasts, without the addition of other external agents.

The 1929 Nero di Troia wine is not filtered and may present natural deposits. Moreover, the sulphite content in the wine is 10 times lower than the legal limit, which is why it is bottled in 1-litre bottles with screw caps.

The 1929 Nero di Troia is a red wine with an alcohol content of 12% vol. and is classified as IGP Puglia. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 4 months in stainless steel tanks and then a further 2 months in the bottle.

Specifications

Our 1929 Nero di Troia is a young wine, with a memory of unripe red fruit.

Manufacturer's Recommendations

It can also be drunk chilled in summer and is the perfect pairing with dishes such as swordfish, octopus or tuna. In order not to commit the wine to overly complex dishes, we recommend pairing it with a risotto with fresh porcini mushrooms or a beef tagliata.
