Trullo dell’Aia

This is the main trullo of the complex Trulli il Castagno, which includes other typical Puglian homes.

Trullo dell’Aia gets its name from the large courtyard made of antique stone, along with the gazebo and panoramic terrace. The stone courtyard is a testament to the local tradition, with “chianche” greyed by time, which also hosts a wood-fired barbecue near the pool and the tavern.

The vacation home is suitable for families with one or two children or for two people, as the living room, with an antique wooden loft and typical local stone flooring, has two sofa beds.

The interiors include a large bathroom furnished in rustic style, a kitchen equipped with a four-burner stove, a fridge with freezer, and other appliances, a double bedroom with a wall closet.

All windows are equipped with mosquito nets, and the HD satellite TV includes a catalog of Netflix movies and TV series. The trullo is equipped with a monumental wood-burning fireplace, available on request, heating, and air conditioning.

The private outdoor area of the trullo has a large shaded area with wooden table and chairs and sun loungers to enjoy the open air. It overlooks the garden, rich in cherry and olive trees, and leads directly to the sunken pool, surrounded by flowers and prickly pear plants.

The pool is easily accessible via stairs and has an outdoor stone shower. The vacation home Trullo dell’Aia, with gazebo and barbecue area, is also characterized by a large shaded parking area, a laundry room, and a waste sorting area.

In addition to poolside fun, there is a play area for children with ping-pong table, slides, and climbing space. In complete relaxation among the Puglian trulli, you can enjoy the beauty of landscapes, rich in vineyards and plantations typical of the countryside of Martina Franca.

The trullo has no architectural barriers, to not limit access to anyone. Also, your four-legged friends are our friends too, as we accept pets for your Puglian vacation.

House rules

Pets are welcome, but they must not cause any nuisance to other guests and must not cause any damage (there is a sanitation charge of €30 for individual accommodation);
The pool area is precluded to animals;
Showering is required before entering the pool;
The pool, if open and not otherwise communicated, is accessible 24/24 hours;
In the playground and pool area, children must always be accompanied by their parents. We are not responsible for damage and/or injury to property, persons and animals;
Lights inside the flat and any other electronic appliances (excluding the fridge and battery charger) must always be switched off and/or unplugged when leaving the flat;
The communal washing machine may be used with its own detergent. It is recommended to use it only when really necessary to avoid unnecessary waste of water;
Noisy noises are forbidden anywhere on the property: we want to preserve the tranquillity of our guests;
Waste separation is recommended in order to respect the environment.
